Hello Everyone! My name is Blake Lamb and I will be your first grade teacher at Rutledge Elementary School. I am beyond excited to meet each of you and get this year started as we work towards our ultimate goal. I will tell you a littel bit about myself and why education is so important to me. I grew up in a home where both my parents were educators. I always saw the compassion and love that they had for their students and it intrigued me to do the same. I recieved an Associate's of Science Degree in Elementary Education (k-6) and then I recieved my Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education (k-5) at East Tennessee State University. I am have two wonderful parents, a twin brother, and an older sister. I am engaged to my best friend! My favorite color is purple and my favorite food is pizza! I hope this information lets you get to know me a little bit better before we kick the 2019 school year off! I can't wait to get started!!
